About
I am an Artist/Researcher, Director of internet technology company Cuttlefish Multimedia Ltd and curator of the Interact Gallery. I am based in Leicester in the UK and have worked nationally and internationally.
In my commercial work I am interested in social networking, mobile multimedia, collaborative computing and location-aware information systems. In my arts work I am interested in systems theory, the nature of interactivity and creative explorations of flow and connectedness.
I have had a varied career which has seen me work in the arts, academia and commerce, and I am comfortably able to move my focus between the three.
I published over 20 research papers and have spoken at numerous conferences and seminars. I have an Honours Degree in Computer Studies, a Masters in Digital Arts and am currently working towards a practice-based PhD in Systems Theory and Digital Arts at De Montfort University.
I am a Fellow of the British Computer Society and a member of the Computer Arts Society.
